Ashton Ridge Cabins at 1, Sheppard Lane, Makanda, Illinois.

The cabin was a perfect choice for a weekend getaway. It was close to all tourist attractions in the area and Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. I followed the owner’s recommendation to have dinner at Global Gourmet, Carbondale and it was great. We enjoyed the romantic atmosphere. This log house is huge, not like normal rental cabins. It was definitely clean & well maintained. You can feel the cozy balsam of a wooden house. We absolutely recommend Ashton Ridge Cabin to any couple or family retreat.
